Starter and Core packages must be completed within 90 days of purchase. All-Inclusive packages have 120 days, given the larger number of sessions. This keeps the momentum going and ensures your child makes consistent progress.

Please cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance through your booking confirmation link. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your session will incur a $25 late cancellation fee charged to the card on file. Life happens — if something unexpected comes up, reach out and we'll do our best to work with you.

A no-show is defined as missing a scheduled session without any prior notice. No-shows are non-refundable and the session is forfeited. For virtual sessions, I will hold the session for 15 minutes past the start time. For in-person sessions, if you are not available within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the session is considered a no-show and the full session fee is forfeited. A second no-show may result in termination of your package without a refund for remaining sessions. If an emergency comes up, please reach out as soon as you can.

Single sessions: if a session has not yet taken place, a full refund will be issued upon request. Once a session has been conducted or results in a no-show per our no-show policy, no refund will be issued.

Packages: unused sessions will be refunded at the difference between the package rate and the single session rate. Sessions already completed or resulting in a no-show will be repriced at the single session rate and deducted from any refund. For package-only services (such as Homework & Study Strategy Coaching, at $175/session), completed sessions will be repriced at that service's Starter package per-session rate for refund calculation purposes.

This is a private pay tutoring service and does not bill insurance. Some families choose to use FSA or HSA funds — we recommend checking with your provider on eligibility for tutoring-related expenses. Payment is due at the time of booking.

It depends on the session type. For the Snapshot Session or Summer Jumpstart: a tablet or laptop with a camera, a quiet space, and your child’s writing supplies - pencil, crayons, and paper. For Homework & Study Study Strategies: a tablet or laptop with a camera, a quiet space, and whatever homework or assignments your child is currently working on. I’ll send everything you need to know before your first session.

If you’re running a few minutes behind, just log in as soon as you can — per our no-show policy, sessions are held for 15 minutes past the start time before being considered a no-show. If you experience technical difficulties (Zoom issues, spotty wifi) during a virtual session, message me right away and we’ll troubleshoot or reschedule — technical problems on either side won’t count against you as a no-show or forfeited session.
