Hi, I'm Cherie.

I'm a pediatric occupational therapist, a mom of two, and someone who has spent more than 20 years working in South Florida schools.

One of the biggest concerns teachers share with me is children's weak fine motor skills and difficulty with handwriting. Once children fall behind due to poor foundational writing skills, catching up becomes harder with every passing year.

Even in my own home, I found myself working with my kids on proper pencil grasp and handwriting. It's that common. And the earlier we build those skills, the better.

That's why I created Ready-2-Write.

My goal is simple: to help young children build the handwriting skills they need before school gets hard. Not as a reaction to struggle — but as a head start.

I work with children Pre-K through 3rd grade, the window when handwriting habits are forming and the right support makes the biggest difference. Every session is warm, encouraging, and tailored to your child — because little learners need to feel confident, not pressured.

I offer both virtual and in-person sessions throughout South Florida. In-person sessions can be held at your home or school.

I'd love to help your little one get ready to write!
